| Kaliese is one of the best in the world in her discipline, the intermediate hurdles. That's where she has found her niche after dipping into quite a few events earlier in her career at the Girls' Championships. One would not be indicted for saying she was like a rabbit in the lab throughout her high school career.
The Mannings High School old girl never lacked talent and perserverance, proudly taking the World Junior title after being introduced to the event after only a few months.
From 2008 her body started the transformation from frail to robust while maintaining all the vital feminine curves she had developed running on the flatlands in Savanna-la-Mar. This enabled Kaliese to tackle the best and beat them consistently, taking home the 2010 Diamond League title. She has also attracted the attention of advertisers and became one of the most recognizable faces in Jamaica. |
