| Korine Hinds has the distinction of running in the first women's steeplechase at the 2005 World Championships. She finished tenth. In 2007 she missed the final by 0.04 seconds.
An Olympian in 2008, Korine was impressive at the National Championships with a strong run of 9 minutes 41.67 seconds. Successful at Girls Championships for St. Jago High School and at Carifta Championships at the under-17 level for Jamaica, Korine was a scorer at the NCAA level for the University of Kansas. |
